raped !!
i was googling today and came across this piece of news. and i am shocked to the core. male dominated society is one thing, but this time the limits have been crossed.
this news is about a 11 yr old girl in pakistan who is frequently being used by her father and her frnds, to have some "fun" with a young girl.her mom knows about it but she prefer to keep it to herself. frustated and wrecked, that girl runs away. police get hold of her, so poor girl tells them about those horrible incidents and her mom testifies it. but wat followed next, can only be happen in a land where morality is unheard of.
the law states, unless a girl can produce "4 male muslim witness" as a proof of being raped, she will be convicted for adultery. and harsh hudood laws make sure that extra marital affiars are dealt strictly. and ofcourse a woman's testimony carries no weightage, even if she is muslim.i dont know wat hurts me more : producing "4 male muslim witness" or idea of producing witness and not relying on DNA tests and all.
rape is a mental trauma that cant be described in words. but in pakistan trauma does not end after getting physically and mentally molested. you try to seek for justice and this time law makes a mockery of your appeal. you will be charged of getting indulged in a sexual extravagenza and raising a finger towards rapist, finally you end up in jail.

is thr anyone out thr to listen to all those poor gurls who are being used merely as sex toys, for which one dont even have to buy a ticket to get a ride. they talk about human rights. why the hell are they are not speaking on this matter. and this is just one case that came into highlight, but wat about million other girls. rape by father !!! no punishment will be enough for such a crime. cha !!
i rememebr seeing a video involving penectomy for a rapist in iraq. i guess anything less than that is not justice. for a crime as hideous as this one, capitol punishment is not enough. just chop of his source of so-called "manhood". may be it is strict and extremly inhuman, but i will stand for it. the punishment should be so hard that even thought should send shivers in the spines of every man trying to have some "fun".
fuck these laws and fuck you prez.

I dont know why this type of incidents fail to bring out voices against. In age of DNA, these are laws which needs to be changed(which asks for 4 witness from women). Thanks for bringing this topic. We need awareness all around the world. Domestic abuse need to be stopped.

there's one land where the law asks for male witnesses, and here's a land where the law can't even do anything for lack (or no lack) of witnesses. even if it does manage to bring justice, its ages later, when justice has lost its meaning. incidents like these keep occuring, here, there, everywhere, they've always been. once in a while, they shock us, disturb us and then are forgotten. we are just aware of their presence around us. only the hapless victims keep reliving them again and again. top

@ krithika : rape is not physical..its more of a mental trauma. the girl after tht is even afraid of a male touch. morally raped..and the aftereffects are horrible mental trauma.
@ sakshi : whnever it was written, its not logical by any sense. bullshit crap..atleast they shud have given some thought before writing it.
@ sonik : but i feel having justice though late is much better thn this fucked up rule...unless thr is a threat of some serious punishment, these crimes can not be controlled. top

I don't kno how Pakistan laws are written and amended, but if we look at our own country's law they are not even that fair to women -who all are raped n suffer from a mental disturbance phase.On the face of it, jus b'coz of recent indulgence of media some ..yes only some brutal cases are being brought to trial.For eg. Dhananjay Chatterjee, who was hanged till death after 14 yrs of imprisonment of raping 14 yrs girl . On an average in India or I must say In Delhi..which is now tagged as "Rappist City" has over at least 10-15 cases of such fun , as u mentioned Anshul. But as Media is no less in corruption and earning profits it catches only Rape cases which puts the Much-talked ppl behind the bar..I hate this.
N i dont understand these Muslims..they care so much abt their ladies..i mean Parda system n all till now..then y do they themself offend their ladies with practice of such activities, n tell if 4 is their lucky number!! Adultury 4 men , A men can marry 4 women n now for rape too...shit! Disgusting!! top

I think the women are at fault! they should come out and voice their distress! if the mother doesn't teach the son to respect the women then no one will...I know how diff it must be to stand in front of these assholes and defend yourself but if the women in paskistan don't do it then no one is gong to help them. help yourself first and then god helps u...I hope something/someone makes them change those horrid laws! top
